Actuate, working with Webalo, is offering mobile software that brings company data formerly accessible only on-site to the smartphones of far-flung employees toting BlackBerries, Windows Mobile, Palm and other Java-enabled devices.

Actuate customers will be able to use the Webalo Mobile Dashboard to make business intelligence available to mobile users. The Mobile Dashboard is basically plug-and-play, requiring power and network connections and a login. The company says there’s nothing complicated about configuring or installing it on your enterprise system.

Mobile packages for Android and iPhone platforms are in the works, too.
