Tired of hearing about the App Store for Apple's iPhone?

Myriad of smartphone users can now indulge their need for newer, hipper, jazzier, faster software at Pocketgear.com, which launched a Palm-specific store this week.

The Palm store alone has some 5000 titles, over 20% of which are available for free. Or, from the main page, pull down your operating system, selecting from BlackBerry, Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Windows Mobile Smartphone in addition to PalmOS.

Games, entertainment, productivity tools, travel guides, encyclopedias, social networking sites make handheld compatible-these are just some of the categories of software for Palm and Windows Mobile available at the stores.

Download the store to your mobile and shop at will.
