Dallas-based AT&T announced yesterday that it will cut 12,000 jobs, or about 4 percent of its workforce. However, as demand for mobile service on devices such as the iPhone increases for AT&T, the company plans to add jobs in mobile, video, and broadband. This should keep from giving iPhone users a headache. AT&T is still the only service offering iPhone access.
