Alltel just announced it would soon offer BlackkBerry Curve 8830, the very same model fellow CDMA operators Sprint and Verizon Wireless plan to carry shortly as well.

Although Alltel won't ship the smartphone until May first (in titanium)—for $300 with a two-year agreement and after a$100 rebate—you can pre-order yours now here.

The BlackBerry Curve 8330 is a full-size BlackBerry model with a QWERTY thumb-keyboard and trackball navigation system. It's also got a 2 megapixel camera that can record video, integrated GPS to support location-based services, and a microSD slot for memory expansion. There's Bluetooth 2.0 with support for wireless stereo headsets and voice-activated dialing as well.

It measures 4.2 x 2.4 x 0.6 inches and weighs in at a light four ounces.

See links below for information about Sprint and Verizon's plans for the new BlackBerry.
