Sprint's just launched its latest BlackBerry model, the Curve 8330. The very same smartphone Verizon launched only a couple of days earlier. Like all RIM phones, the new BlackBerry includes support for BlackBerry’s personal and enterprise push e-mail solutions, multimedia and Web browsing.

While Verizon is selling the new BlackBerry for $270 with a two-year agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate, it goes for $280 with the same length contract from Sprint. Both carriers knock an additional $100 off for those who sign up for a qualifying voice and data plan.

Features of the Curve 8330 include a 2 megapixel camera that can record video, tethered modem functionality and support for exclusive Sprint services like the Sprint Music Store, Sprint TV and Sprint Navigation, which provides turn-by-turn GPS-enabled directions, 3-D moving maps, and access to more than 10 million local listings and real-time traffic alerts.

This full-size BlackBerry sports a QWERTY thumb-keyboard and support for Sprint's super-fast EV-DO data network. It measures 4.2 x 2.4 x 0.6 inches and weighs 4 ounces.

There's also Bluetooth 2.0, the ability to listen to music and watch video, and a 2 megapixel camera. A microSDHC slot allows you to greatly increase storage capacity. Sprint bundles a 1GB card.
