HTC Posts Windows Mobile 6.1 Upgrade for TyTN II

By James Alan Miller
May 29, 2008

HTC has posted an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional for owners of the TyTN II. To get the platform update, see here.

While this Pocket PC Phone is offered by AT&T as the Tilt in the U.S., the update from HTC isn't for these users. That update is due later this year, but will eventually arrive directly from AT&T.

Windows Mobile 6.1 provides new timesaving features, easier phone navigation and management, stronger security safeguards, support for Microsoft System Center Mobile Device Manager 2008, and an improved Internet Explorer Mobile application.
