What you'll get is Flash Lite 3, improved system performance, faster camera loads, a better search widget, and N-Gage support. No automatic screen rotation yet, like with other N95s to get this update, it appears, however. You should be able to update your N95, on a Windows XP desktop, through the Nokia Software Updater, available here. The N95 firmware upgrade is due to ship in early June. Before Nokia shipped the North American-friendly version of the N95 in March, two other versions of the smartphone had already available in this country—one with 8GB of memory and the other with far less storage but with 3G support. This new N95 combines both of these important features. As with the other N95s, the new one isn't available directly from a carrier, so its $800 price tag isn't subsidized. Fortunately, unlike many subsidized smartphones, you can choose which GSM carrier’s (T-Mobile or AT&T) network you'd like to use the N95 on. The N95 with 8GB of RAM and 3G can be bought at Nokia's flagship stores, of which there are only two (in Chicago and New York), online or over the phone. Related Links:
