By James Alan Miller
Otter Products is now offering limited-edition pink cases for the iPhone and iPod nano in an effort to raise money to help fight breast cancer and raise awareness of the disease. It is donating 10 percent of the proceeds earned off these OtterBox for iPhone or iPod nano Defender Series cases to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, which supports access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer, with a focus on the medically underserved.
These cases protect the iPhone and nano 3rd generation from drops, bumps and shock, while providing complete screen and Click Wheel interaction, the latter for the iPod only, of course. The iPhone case provides access to the home, volume, sleep/wake buttons and proximity sensor and acoustic vents on speaker phone and headset speaker allow clear sound transmission. The nano case provides access to the hold button. Headphone jacks and dock connectors accessible on both cases. For both devices, there's a clear polycarbonate sheet with a hard coating that offers chemical and abrasion protection, a hi-impact polycarbonate skeleton, and a premium grade silicone skin to provide added protection. The iPhone Defender Series case sells for Defender $49.95 and the version for the iPod nano$29.95. Related Links:
