Protect Pocket PC, Smartphone Data with Spb Backup

By James Alan Miller
June 18, 2008

Spb Software House has released Spb Backup 2.0, the latest version of its application for creating reserve copies of data from your Pocket PC. It does this through the assembly of self-extracting compressed executables and scheduled backups.

In the new version, the company said it focused on one of the most important backup usage scenarios for advanced users: ROM and device upgrade. And, with growing amount of devices based on Windows Mobile Standard (former Windows Smartphones), it added support for non-touch screen devices.

Another Backup 2.0 feature is a desktop part for syncing and storing the backup files on desktop computer.

The software is also supposed to be easier to use, faster, and include support for both Windows Mobile 6 and 6.1.
