Sprint and Palm yesterday the Treo 800w. The new Treo looks similar to the Palm's very successful Centro model. Rather than run on the Palm OS, the Treo 800w, as the 'w' implies, is a Windows Mobile smartphone. In fact, it is the first Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional model to support the carrier's speedy EV-DO Rev. A cellular-data network out of the box. The Treo 800w also sports Wi-Fi and GPS. It is sells for $249.99 with a two-year agreement.
