HP Ships iPAQ 910 Business Messenger Smartphone

Hewlett-Packard (HP), as promised a little over month ago, is now (finally) shipping its latest smartphone, the iPAQ 910 Business Messenger. Delayed, this device was originally supposed to become available late last year.

You can buy the iPAQ 910 unlocked - for use with any GSM carrier (e.g. AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S.) - directly from HP online or at retail through the likes of Amazon.com.

The iPAQ 910 is quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE phone with support for tri-band UMTS/HSDPA 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with support for VoIP, and Assisted GPS. It's also got a QWERTY thumb-keyboard and a 2.46-inch, 240 x 320 pixel (QVGA) resolution touch screen.

There's a 3 megapixel camera with auto focus and 4x zoom and a microSD slot.

Inside the iPAQ 910 you'll find a 520MHz Marvell PXA270 processor, 128MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM, and a 1940 mAH Lithium Ion battery.

The smartphone measures 4.45 x 2.53 x 0.63 inches (113 x 64 x 16 millimeters) and weighs 5.4 ounces (154 grams).

It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1.
