Tip: Easily Follow MLB, NFL from Your Mobile

No reason to sacrifice play by play or regular sports score updates just because you're on the go and away from a radio. Your mobile device is all you need. For updates from major league baseball teams, just sign up for GameDay Audio.

  •  Using your handheld, go to wap.mlb.com
  •  Scroll down and select GameDay Audio Live
  •  Enter the date
  •  Choose from the list of games that comes up.

You can get home and away games and the service is also offered in Spanish. It's $4.99/month for Windows Mobile Devices

Other mobile features from MLB include team alerts and player alerts, which you customize. They also have fees.

If you just can't wait for the pro football season to begin, you can start your following the gridiron with NFL mobile.

From www.nfl.com, select NFL Anytime from the main banner menu Choose NFL Mobile or NFL.com Wireless

NFL Mobile is only available for Sprint users and offers play by play, stats and news updates via text message and streaming video.

NFL.com Wireless is available to any Internet-capable phone, though it's simply accessing www.nfl.com from your phone. It seems reasonable, though, that once the season is underway more streaming and live audio and video will become available. Mobile sites put pro baseball and football coverage in the palm of your hand.
