Nokia is giving its new N96 high-end multimedia handset something that most phones don't get - a mobile TV channel of its very own.
Called Capsule N96, the downloadable channel has all sorts of entertainment and lifestyle content, all packaged into 96-second programs. Topics range from fashion and culture to gadgets and comedy.
This sounds like a short-term deal, though. According to a Pocket-lint report, the channel goes live on October 1, with new weekly episodes available only through the end of November.

Sony Ericsson is promoting its XPERIA line of handsets with the nine-episode drama series "Who Is Johnny X."
The online series, debuting tonight at www.whoisjohnny-x.com, consists of two- to three-minute episodes, Brand Republic reports. And it also answers the question that's been buzzing around the Web for the past couple of weeks: "What is 'Who is Johnny X?'"
