KeyToss Personalizes Mobile Browsing

By Amy Mayer

A free beta version of a new app/portal called KeyToss lets you personalize your mobile browsing experience. So, for instance, it allows users to save multiple locations as your "local" for searchers and weather.

To get KeyToss, you first have to register and reply to a confirmation e-mail. Then, using your web browser on either a handheld or laptop/desktop, you set up your preferences.

Modules include personal links, locations, weather, sports scores and stock quotes. Select the categories you want to see on your handheld and then designate which specific sites within those categories you prefer.

Now, when you open KeyToss on your mobile browser, you have one-click access to all the content you specified. You can make changes from your smartphones, though it's faster and easier to do on a full-size screen from the desktop.
