LG to Smarten Up Wrists with Smartphone

Here's a smartphone to watch for—or, rather, a smart watch to phone. Or maybe it's a phone watch for the smart? LG's been telling folks about a watch-sized, made-for-the-wrist smartphone it plans to release this year.

With voice dialing, a touch screen and even a camera for video conferencing, strapping this one on can't help but feel like a step into the fantasy worlds created by late 20th century TV shows and much earlier creations of the imagination like the comic strip Dick Tracy.

Alas, it likely won't be out til the second half of the year.
