Reports are surfacing that an application called MemoryUp destroys memory on the Android G1 phone. The application apparently erases contacts and installs adware, according to users in the Android Community forum. Customers also blame MemoryUp for spamming their e-mail accounts. Critics seek a stricter approval process for apps in the Android Market similar to that of Apple's App Store.
