Keep Your Number & Service -- Change Your Phone as Often as You Like

Tired of that sinking feeling you get two days after signing a new service contract when your hot new device suddenly feels so … yesterday? Rentoble has figured out a way for you to stick with your contract (and keep your phone number) while changing phones as often as you like.

How? They take care of device purchasing, you just tell them what you want to rent, keep it as long as you like and then send it back when you want to try something else.

Rentoble's got devices for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint. You can even rent an unlocked phone. Hardware brands include BlackBerry, HTC, LG, Palm, Motorola, Nokia and Samsung. It lists Apple, but nothing comes up when you click the link.

Rental prices differ for members and guests, member benefits include first-line access to new devices and other perks in addition to lower rental fees.

This service promises to get many more hands on new devices while they're still new—potentially changing how avid users make decisions about when and what to buy.
