WinScribe Dictation Adds Supports for Two More BlackBerry Models

By James Alan Miller
November 11, 2009

WinScribe, a digital dictation, transcription, and workflow management vendor, is now supporting the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Tour with its Mobility Suite. The dictation solution, already compatible with a number of other BlackBerry devices, as well as Windows Mobile and Nokia smartphones, offers one-touch operation and lets users route work directly to a transcription team. Voice files are automatically sent to a remoate server whenever a connection is present. When a connection is not readily available, WinScribe is able to work in offline mode. In this instance, voice files are stored on the local device until a connection is present. Options exist for work type and key field selection and multimedia support for record/insert, overwrite and append, play, fast-forward, and rewind. See here to learn more about WinScribe.
