Cellcrypt Mobile, an application that delivers end-to-end, real-time encryption to protect private conversations, is now available on the recently launched BlackBerry Bold 9700 and, for the first time, RIM's BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Pearl models. It is also compatible with a variety of other BlackBerry phones, as well as Windows Mobile and Nokia's Nseries and Eseries smartphones. The application uses government-grade encryption certified to the FIPS 140-2 standard approved by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology. It is presently undergoing certification with a number of governments worldwide, according its developer (also called Cellcrypt) and is capable of operating on all major wireless networks, including 2G and 3G cellular, Wi-Fi and satellite.
