Photoshop Mobile Now Available for Android Phones

By James Alan Miller

Adobe delivered a mobile version of Photoshop to the iPhone a month ago on the App Store. It has now done the same for smartphones running on Google's Android platform. Photoshop Mobile for Android is compatible with all existing 'gPhone' models and, like with the iPhone edition, allows users to edit and share photos on their iPhone, the latter provided you sign up for a free 2GB account at the Adobe's online service.

The main editing features of the app include:

  •
  • Crop, rotate, and color-correct with the touch of a finger.
  •
  • Add soft focus or change to black & white with a click.
  •
  • The ability to add a sepia tint.
  •
  • Intuitive Photo Browser for viewing local and online images
