Today, T-Mobile USA, the first carrier in the world to deliver a 'gPhone,' today launched its lates Google Android-run smartphone, the Samsung Behold II.
Like with some of its other phones—such as the recent Solstice model—you'll use Samsung's fingertip-friendly TouchWiz interface to manage the Behold II through its 3.2-inch display. The Behold II's touchscreen also happens to be T-Mobile's first to use more color-friendly and less power-hungry AM-OLED technology.
In addition to support for many Google services, the Behold II can be used in an enterprise environment for e-mail thanks to Exchange ActiveSync support. The Behold II also comes with visual voicemail.
Additional features include compatibility with T-Mobile's 3G network, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1, which includes support for wireless stereo headsets. There's also a 5 megapixel camera with flash and auto-focus for picture and video, GPS, and a microSD slot capable of handling cards up to 32GB in size. It ships with a 2GB microSD card.
The Bold II goes for $230 with a two-year service agreement.
