Zenprise MobileManager Now Android Compatible

By James Alan Miller
December 15, 2009

Zenprise this week added support for Google's Android OS to its MobileManager platform for helping enterprises to manage smartphones connecting to corporate mobile networks. The company already supported BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows Mobile and Palm smartphones. Also, newly introduced in MobileManager is a USsr Health Check, an automated 100-point troubleshooting checklist to help IT departments more efficiently mitigate the onslaught of post-holiday smartphone support calls. The point of the User Health Check is to reduce the number and duration of support-related calls by at least 50 percent, according to Zenprise, by allowing help desk employees or level two support teams with limited experience to quickly troubleshoot and resolve user issues, whether they are common or hard to detect problems.
