Update: Despite a phone being stolen last week at Mobile World Congress holding a preview version of
Windows Mobile 6.5, the thief won't be able to access the new OS goods.
Microsoft has remotely eliminated the sensitive version 6.5 data from the stolen phone. The handset belonged to Sol Trujillo, CEO of Australian telecommunications company Telstra.
Redmond's swift swiping of the data from the thief is a promising development in remote security management on handsets. Watch your pockets, though.
