Not getting your fill of news from the myriad American sources you podcast or read on RSS feeds? Looking for international or European content from a non-US source? Or, perhaps you've just always had a love affair with the BBC. You can get all kinds of content from the BBC Radio 1 on your smartphone.

Point your browser to www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/radio1. You can listen live or scroll around for other offerings such as audio downloads, pictures and more.

If you click on the Preferences link toward the bottom of the home page, you can specify whether you want images and other content that may take up more room/take longer to download. Be mindful of your data plan.
