Kingston Contest Engages Mobile Snapshooters

By Brian T. Horowitz

Memory card maker Kingston Technologies is running a camera-phone contest to boost its mobile marketing efforts.

Photos may involve dance moves, pet tricks, vacation spots, or sporting events. Kingston will award products such as memory cards, flash drivers, HD media players, and Bluetooth headsets to the winners.

Contests can be an effective marketing tool for companies such as Google to engage consumers and raise product awareness.
