Google's posted information regarding the first major update to its Android-platform for smartphones like the T-Mobile G1. Version 1.5 will add a number of new features, including an on-screen keyboard, home screen widgets, more video options, web browser enhancements, support for wireless headsets in stereo, a more polished user interface, and much more. Google has not said when Android 1.5 will be made available to end users. Developers should get the final edition of the software development kit (SDK) to create applications by the end of April, though. See here for a comprehensive list of Android 1.5 features.
