A posting at The Boy Genius Report says that Motorola's first 'gPhone' entry will be called Calgary and that said smartphone will be carried by Verizon Wireless. If true, this would make Calgary this country's largest carrier’s first Google Android-run handset as well. Other than these details and a few renderings, not much is known about Calgary—other than it'll apparently be a slider that reveals a horizontal keyboard when open. Rumor has it the Motorola Calgary could hit the market as soon as the second quarter of 2009. We’ll keep you posted.
