ASUS will soon release a new Netbook in the U.S., the Eee PC 1005HA Seashell. It's a Windows Mobile XP model that succeeds the Eee PC 1000HE. According to ASUS, the 1005HA is the most energy- efficient Eee PC yet, delivering over 10.5 hours of power on a single charge of its user-replaceable batter. Asus says this is thanks to the ASUS-engineered Super Hybrid Engine (SHE), LED-backlit display and Intel Atom processor. There's also an upgradable RAM slot and a 92 percent-sized keyboard with full-size shift keys. The keyboard is complimented by extra-wide palm rests and a seam-less touchpad with a dimpled surface that supports multi-touch gestures. You can pre-order the $389.99 Eee PC 1005HA now. See here for more information on the Netbook. See below page for full specifications.
