YouMail recently discovered a problem with its Visual Voicemail Plus BlackBerry app that may affect some users. Under certain circumstances, using the "greetings" feature can "hang" the app, so that it can no longer retrieve voicemails. It has already placed a new version on BlackBerry App World that fixes this issue, however.
YouMail recommends that users uninstall the YouMail app, using "Delete" from the 'Applications' menu, and reinstall the updated version from BlackBerry App World. As part of this fix, the application will download all voicemails and greetings again from YouMail, a process that may take a few minutes if a user has lots of voicemails and/or greetings.
