The trend in smartphones today is to allow users to use SMS the same way they were intstant messaging. That is to enable them to view their text message conversations as a thread. One application that brings this capablity to Windows Mobile devices is SMS-Chat from VITO Technology.
Well, the developer is now bundling this program with a second app, ZoomBoard (an on-screen keyboard), in a new package it's calling
Quick SMS. The bundle goes for $19.95, whereas the apps would cost about $25 separately
ZoomBoard promises to make typing messages quicker and more accurate by displaying a zoomed (or enlarged) image of a pressed letter. It types the letter only after you've released it.
According to VITO, it's fixed bugs and added new skins to both apps. It has improved the keyboard layouts and functionality of ZoomBoard as well. Also, each ZoomBoard user can now create a customized layout for the keyboard.
