Keynote Systems recently introduced a subscription-based service, called Mobile Competitive Monitoring & Analysis (MCMA), targeted at wireless carriers, mobile aggregators, infrastructure providers and enterprises.

MCMA provides detailed benchmarks for the performance for mobile services including SMS, MMS, data throughput, WAP and streaming on all the leading mobile networks—AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile—in San Diego, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Orlando and Seattle. The point is, according to Keynote, to give subscribers a panoramic view of the mobile landscape so they can maintain the service levels that their customers and partners expect.

It does this by analyzing the data to create clear and concise summary reports for each subscriber. Whereupon Keynote consultants help users interpret the data and are available to provide recommendations on how to achieve service level standards.

Pricing starts at about $10k per month, depending on the package chosen. See here for details.
