S4BB's just released beta 1 of DataBackup, an application for backing up personal data—such as contacts from the Address Book—to a BlackBerry's SD (microSD) card and as well as restoring the information back to the device's internal database. The developer emphasizes this is a very early beta, as a result "Data integrity can NOT be guaranteed!." See here to learn more and find out how to take part in the DataBackup beta program. Keep in mind your BlackBerry must run on BlackBerry OS 4.1 or higher.
