Video Catches the HTC Leo in Action

By James Alan Miller
September 18, 2009

A video has leaked showing HTC's upcoming Leo smartphone in action. The Leo is a Windows Mobile 6.5 handset with 4.3-inch (WVGA resolution) touch screen that supports multi-touch, the ability to use more than one finger at a time, input. It will be the first Microsoft-run smartphone to support this capability, which should be familiar to users of the Palm Pre and iPhone. Additional supposed features of the HTC Leo, a high-end model, include a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3G, 320MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, 8 megapixel auto focus camera, microSD slot, and a standard 3.5 mm headset jack. There's been no indication as to when or where this smartphone will ship. We'll keep you posted.
