S4BB's released Beta 2 of DataBackup, an application for backing up personal data-such as contacts from the Address Book-to a BlackBerry's microSD card as well as restoring the information back to the smartphone's internal database.

New Features in DataBackup include a Progress Bar and the addition of the ability to backup and restore Memos. You can also now choose what type of data to backup, such as "Memos", "Contacts" or both for backup and restore processes. .

A new Restore List shows all previously created backup files for selection and restore, while Unicode support makes DataBackup for BlackBerry compatible with foreign language characters like Chinese, Japanese and others now. .
