Video Demos Samsung I5700 Galaxy Lite 'gPhone'

By James Alan Miller

A few weeks ago, the FCC gave Samsung's I5700 Galaxy Lite 'gPhone' a thumbs up, clearing the way for the as-of-yet unnanounced Google Android smartphone to ship in the U.S. Below is a video that offers a sneak peak of what appears to be a less feature-rich version of Samsung's other Android phone, the I7500 Galaxy. The Galaxy Lite in the video does not use Samsung's proprietary interface.. It includes 1GB of internal memory and a 3.2 megapixel shooter to the I7500's 8GB of memory and 5 megapixel camera. The I5700 will likely find a home with T-Mobile and could be the carrier's fist entry-level Google-run smartphone.
