Message:I have the 568 and had problems with connecting to Windows 98SE, Windows ME and Windows 98. I tried ActiveSync 3.1, 3.5 and always the USB connected as an unknown device. I even bought a new USB cord and still no 'device detected'. I bought a serial connection cradle from HP and everything connected fine. Don't know the issue here, but I scoured the HP website and Microsoft trying everything to get the USB to work. I called HP help too. They asked me to send it in for service. I talked to some folks at COMPUSA and they said they have had issues with the new Jornada's and compatibility. E-mail me if you have trouble getting ActiveSync to connect with a serial. I am up and running and the Jornada is running well.
