Message:

I am having a very difficult time finding information
about the internet cost for PDA's. None of the customer
service tech's at the stores that sell them do not know
and I cannot find the info. on the internet. A few questions:
1)Does anyone know the monthly approx. internet cost for
PDA's?
2)Does the internet service have to be purchased from
the manufacturer of the PDA or can I get my own provider?
What are some good PDA internet service providers?
3)Can any internet site be located with a PDA or do they
only have fixed sites that can be logged into?
4)What is the best PDA for the money (incl. internet service)
if I want a wireless version (does not require modem)?
5)I want to be able to access the internet with a portable
wireless system - is a PDA the most cost effective way to do this? If not, what is?
6)Does the internet service with PDA's have unlimited usage?

I do not mind paying $200 - $300 for a PDA to use the internet,
but would like to find one with unlimited internet access for
no more than $20 per month. So far, the best price I found so far to access the internet by portable means is a wireless cell phone with AT&T premium service for $45/mo. (the lg. screen phone costs $150).
