Hi,

We are a telecom company current automating our prepaid cards distribution. Our vendor has suggested Palm III for this purpose. I have done some home work and visited a distributor who uses this model. They have major problems of break down with this model. Here in Pakistan, environmental conditions are harsh. Specially temperatures touch 50 C in summers and it can get very humid as well. Moreover, since each salesman will be visiting 30-40 retail outlets every day and using the PDA at every outlet, chances of wear and tear are high.

Can someone tell me which PDAs are suitable under rugged / harsh conditions? The cheaper the better!
