Message:Hi, I'm thinking about buying a PDA but I'm pretty ignorant as to the capabilities and differences between all of them are. Are some made for different purposes or do they all have basically the same capabilities? What is the difference between a handspring, a pocket PC, and an ipaq? Are there more PDAs than those? I work at the Engineering Research Center at the University of Michigan and I am currently developing software in java. I would like to get a PDA which I can run my java applications on. Are there any PDAs that can support a java virtual machine? I have heard about SavaJe's OS which supports the Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) and it can run on the iPAQ H3850 and H3870. Is this the only PDA that supports the J2SE? I would appreciate any help/advice you can give. Thank you,Ben
