This morning I came accross a 12V mains power supply and connected it to my 200LX. Surprise, surprise!!!!! It switched on!!! It then warned me that main batteries were VERY LOW and backup battery was also VERY LOW - which of course is impossible since I have replaced all the batteries with new ones. Then a doubt crossed my mind: I always use Duracell batteries, only this time I used the new "duracell ultra". I fecthed o couple of good "old" "normal" duracel battteries and disconnected the mains power supply - it worked!!! My 200LX is back!!! And the warning about the backup battery is also gone. So be warned!!! And if someone could explain why the 200LX complaind also abaout the backup battery, I would like to understand that. Thanks again.
