Message:Hi All!
I've got a problem with my PCMCIA ATA Flash card. It is Viking 8MB Flash ATA typical card. I've got also PCMCIA reader bought separately for my PC. Windows reports it as "Controller PCMCIA ISA of Databook". Card works properly with my 200LX, but I can't read it in my PC PCMCIA controller. When I put my card into Windows reports new hardware found - "PCMCIA ATA Controller", but no disk on it. I can't find the drive letter. The same situation is when I put my card into PCMCIA port in any notebook I have ever tried. I think it is common problem, but I am new LX user. I tried to find the nswer in PCMCIA FAQ's. HPLX FAQs and many others - please do not write me RTFM ;)
Are there amy "standard" drivers for ATA Flash? My friend has got Cannon Digital Ixus photo camera with PCMCIA reader connected by USB with software and drivers for readinf CF cards by PCMCIA changer. Using this reader I can read my card with no problems.
THX 4 any ansver
Lukasz
