Message:Online is a VT100 terminal emulator for the Palm. By using a Palm modem or a serial connection, users of Online can connect their Palms to other computer systems and access network resources from their hand-held organizer. The virtual screen can display up to 80 columns by 24 rows. You enter text with Graffiti, using a type-ahead buffer, or with macros that you modify. Incoming text can be logged to your Memo Pad. Online can be used to connect to UNIX systems, surf the web using Lynx, edit files with vi and emacs, and to read and write email using elm. Online connects to the Internet only via dial-up shell accounts, not PPP. Good documentation is included.
