Message:AOL wasn't too bad, so I heard, then they dropped support for the "aloha" package. Compuserve rather raised their "minimum specifications", and few now seem to offer support for anything exept the Win-doze and Macs, and even then only the high-endies and the latest hot-off-the-production-line examples of Tech-fashion. How do the ISPs rate for the support for, and accessability from, the Newt platforms, and do they need PPP-compatible browsers like NetHopper or are they connectable with "dumb" (but good) terminal emulators like PocketCall which don't eat up anything like as much precious memory? Has anyone made comparisons and are any of them that good? Also, is there a way to link a newt (mine's an eMate 300) to an alcatel phone? Thanx in advanceJohn Johnson.
