Intellisync will be much faster the next time you sync. It only exchanges changed data between the PIM and the REX. The first time you sync, it has to send all data, and it takes a long time. The next time you sync, it will send only what has changed since the last time.
Make sure you have the latest version of Intellisync, 1.1, not 1.0.
