Message:

With my previous Rex 3 I am used to seeing the battery icon BLINKING for a good week prior to the batteries totally dying. However, I do not remember seeing my Rex 6's battery icon flash before it unceremoniously died before I could change the batteries.

Must you remember to periodically check the battery status by way of that specific screen? Does not the Rex 6 warn in some pro-active manner?
