Hi,

I can't install the Rex 6000 USB cradle under win2000 professional. The USB part seems to install OK, but the USB to serial port part (rexerpd.sys, i think) causes the system to crash, and keeps corrupting the file 'serenum.sys' under winnt/system32/drivers (the system can't boot until this is replaced). I've tried a number of fixes for both win2000 and XP from the rex6000.org site including updating bios (on an IBM NetVista 40) and modifying the memory management controls in the registry. My rex came with V1.01 of the software, so there shouldn't be problems with old files. Can anyone offer any advice.
