Message:I just picked up a Rex 5000 on eBay & can't get it to sync. I've downloaded and installed the latest updates to Truesync Plus and the update to add the "accessors" for Outlook 2000.
I believe my problem may be lack of Win 98 knowledge on my part rather than anything with the Rex. Whenever I try to sync, the software keeps asking me to insert Rex card (when it is already inserted). Ultimately I have to cancel the sync. During setup I noticed that the Rex communication is directed to Com 4. I know that I can sync another PDA using the same serial port and Com 1. Does anybody know how to get the Rex software to use Com 1? When I try to select a different Com on the dropdown menu during setup, I only get a single choice (for Com 4). Thanks in advance.
