Message:Anyone have any experience (good, bad or otherwise) syncing a Rex 6000 with Lotus Notes R5?
I currently have a 5001, which I LOVED when I was using MS Outlook at work. My current employer uses Notes (why anyone doesn't use Outlook is beyond me). I've found the 5001 and TrueSync to be absolutely PATHETIC at syncing with Notes. I've tried all the various versions of TrueSync and the accessors, but to no avail. When I perform a one way sync (Notes to Rex) I continually wind up with a combination of missing contacts in Rex, duplicate contacts in Rex, or, get this, DELETED contacts in NOTES!!
The touchscreen and larger capacity of the Rex 6000 are appealing to me, and I love the small size. But if I can expect the same miserable syncing problems, my next PDA purchase will be a Clie.
