Message:I currently have nextel service with a SIM card. I am looking to get a non nextel phone, like an Ericson T39m. I tried my SIM in some non-nextel phones already and I get non supported SIM or some such message. I have heard about unlocking phones, will this allow me to use the SIM card? Are there certain phones that will take the card? Does freq. have anything to do with it? Any other information I would need to get my nextel service on a non-nextel phone would be much appreciated. Thanks.
