Hello cutbrain,

Have you tried to ask Kyocera? They have a FAQ about Mac Connectivity on there website (http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/kysmart/kysmart_mac_qa.htm)

Since no one has responded to you yet, I will give you my experiences.

I have set up a Kyocera 6035 on a Windows machine that was previously set up for a Palm V. I did not install any of the software supplied with the 6035 so this would leave me to believe that the 6035 would work with the standard Palm Desktop software available for download from Palm.com.

I have also set up an old Palm (with serial cradle) on both a Power Mac 8100 and a PowerMac G3 Yosemite (USB Only). I had purchased the Palm Mac Pac when I first purchased a Palm Pilot Pro. This gave me a Serial converter for the Palm Cradle that would work with the Mac. With the USB PowerMac, I purchased a Keyspan USB to Serial Adapter.

So, even though I have no personal experience with the 6035 and a Mac, I would assume that you only need a suitable USB to Serial adapter (assuming that you are using a USB Mac) and then just download the Palm Desktop for the Mac from the Palm website. This is what is stated in the FAQ linked below.

I would suspect that different USB to Serial adapters would give you different results so if at all possible, research adapters and purchase one from a source that will allow you to return it and try another if it does not work.

Like I stated above, I found the Keyspan USB Serial adapter to work just fine.

Good luck,
